Erin Z (10 out of 10 ) This movie is one of the best classic horror movies ever made. The suspense in this is truly terrifying and will leave you shuddering.

Eduardo (10 out of 10 ) The Thing is one of the most renown horror movie ever made. Not surprisingly, it was directed by one of the best masters of horror, John Carpenter, who also gave the world THE FOG and HALLOWEEN. John Carpenter is a genius when it comes to horror, because he doesnt rely on gore and shock value.
This is different than the actual movie, but it was still a very fun read. It made me want to go out and find the actual THE THING movie and watch it.
Slippery Jim (10 out of 10 ) I have seen this film about 100 times. I was 12 when it first came out. I'm closing on 50. I watch it every few months. Had it on Betamax, then VHS, then DVD- loved the diector's commentary and extras. Now I have it on my computer. I met T. Ok. Carter. The actor who plays Childs. He's a strange one. He lives in Pasadena, CA. We met at a party. We were supposed to make a website together back in 2011. It never panned out. T. Ok. Wasn't the best businessman. Never meet your heroes.
